Row, Row, Row Your Boat...

What do you do when it's 30 degrees out with 85% humidity? Hire a boat and take it out for a spin on the pond in Central Park, of course.
You've probably seen the row boats before, and sighed at how romantic it all looks. And if I were into all that sappy girly vom worthy sap, I would have taken a book of poetry and some rose and made a spectacle of it. But, I'm not....so instead, I just sat back under the shade of my umbrella (#palegirlproblems) and enjoyed the jolting motion and the creaking oars as Iven chilvarously paddled us around the pond. I tried to row myself, but unsurprisingly, rowing is not one of my many talents, and when Iven tried to snapchat me rowing, the filter which displays how fast you're going helpfully displayed 0 MPH. At just $15 for an hour in a boat that can hold up to 4 people, it's also incredibly decent value.

And how do you top off your time on the water? Refueling! After we wrapped up, we walked down to 53rd and 6th Ave to get an early dinner from our favourite halal food cart - from the Halal Guys. Hands down, the best chicken/lamb over rice in the city. What makes it so special? The white sauce. I don't exactly know what the white sauce is, except that it was probably sent from God and you should probably load up on extra. And at $7, it's incredible value - especially since one serving is practically enough for two!
